Regular Weekly Yoga Classes:
Mon. @ 10:30am
Gentle Stress Reduction Movement, Guided Relaxation, and Meditation Class
(Your choice! Participate in a chair or on a mat. All Levels welcome.)
This class moves slower with a deeper focus on techniques for grounding, calming and relaxation, including E.F.T. tapping. The breathing practices, meditations, and simple movements and stretches are designed to open and lubricate all the major joints, relax the muscles, release tension, calm the mind and nervous system and regulate the flow of energy through the body.  All welcomed! (beginner, advanced, young, elderly and those convalescing or with disease conditions.) Mats and chairs are available.

Mon. and Wed. @ 4:30pm
Chair Yoga and Meditation Class:
This class follows the same practices and intentions as the mat classes. The difference is that it is done in a chair and not on a mat. We begin seated in the chair and then advance to standing postures. It is a great fit for those who want to add balance to their practice but are not ready, interested, or comfortable getting up and down from the floor or being on their hands or knees for a prolonged period of time. This class is for everyBODY! Chairs will be provided.

Tues: @ 6:30pm
"NEW" Chakra Energy Balancing Yoga Class:
This mat class will focus on the 7 main chakra energy centers of the body. Each week you will be introduced to a new chakra center and its corresponding glands, nerve plexus, color, sounds, function and postures. During class you will move using yoga postures and stretches (designed for the specific chakra area), use Kapalabhati and Ujjayi Yoga breathing and chant chakra sounds to stimulate, move and balance the energy. This is super fun and takes your practice to a deeper healing experience.
Thurs. @ 6:30pm and Fri. @ 10:30am
Mat Yoga and Meditation Classes
Amy's mat classes will guide you to notice, feel and observe your body, breath and mind to release tension  and create ease through safe joint opening stretches, yoga poses, breathing techniques, guided body scan relaxation, and meditations of "Loving Kindness" and "Gratitude." This class is enjoyed by those who are comfortable getting up and down from the floor, being on their hands and knees, and in a seated position.  No prior experience is needed. Mats are available.

Private (Individual or Group) Yoga and Meditation Classes:
This is a private scheduled one on one or group session done with or without a chair. Amy will work with the student(s) to target the specific health conditions or body needs for improved well-being. This class is suitable for an event or gathering of a club, group or family or for those who want privacy. The payment for the class is up to the individual or small group to split. "I chose to take a yoga class at Kent because I wanted to find a way to relax and relieve some stress. In the midst of a jam-packed schedule, I barely have time to work out or have any time for myself. I love yoga because it's non competitive. It's not about losing weight or even physical fitness. It's not a race. It has helped me find more of a focus, which helps you find peace. I've learned how important it is to focus on your breathing also! I would recommend it to anybody and I plan on continuing the practice. And it's just not for flexible women! -Andrew (K.S.U.)

“Yoga really allows me to notice myself a little more, but on a deeper level. Looking back I thought breathing was just the body crying out for oxygen. But yoga has allowed me to see the true meaning of a breath. It helps relax you. Relaxing is the hardest thing to do when you're in a world that's full of Go! Go! Go! It's easy to get caught in it without realizing. This process has allowed me to notice my surroundings and my breath, so I am able to control how I am feeling a little bit more." - Olivia (K.S.U.)
